In this episode Dave from the Alabama Football Podcast breakdown the Tide’s breath-taking performance against the Georgia Bulldogs.
Well, it’s been a minute since we’ve done this but so so greatly appreciate the outreach during the offseason. We probably have a mix of reasons and excuses to taking so much time between shows but let’s just say we fell hard into the off season. But we’re back.
I don’t suppose I have to explain that decision we’re referring to here, right?!? The Tide was bipolar in the first half against Georgia. The defense while tasked with 47 plays was outstanding, meanwhile the offense could only muster 24 of their own plays. Reverse those numbers and the Tide is Rolling. But despite 70+ first half plays, there as only one that sealed the decision. Tune in and see if you agree.
Here a freshman, there a freshman, everywhere a freshman. There was a stretch in the second half where it seemed that every play was being made by a freshman. It was almost as exciting as the game itself.
Anyone can read a headline, but which players contributed in more subtle ways to the Tide’s fortune?
